Marjorie Lucille Wieters Schwacke, 91, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of John Henry Schwacke entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 405 King Street at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street.

Lucille was born September 18, 1926, a daughter of the late August W. Wieters and Carlotta M. Rosebrock Wieters. A Charleston native, she graduated from Memminger High School. She was a retired assignment clerk with Southern Bell. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and the Charleston Rifle Club Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons: John H. Schwacke, Jr. (Lorelei) of Johns Island, SC and Ronald K. Schwacke of Charleston, SC; and two granddaughters: Miranda Lee Schwacke and Kara Jane Schwacke.
