Montana Deloris Logan Stello, 81, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Friday, February 9, 2018. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 11, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the Cryptside in Live Oak Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 3093 Ashley River Road at 2:30 p.m.

Montana was born February 21, 1936 in Sumter, SC, daughter of the late Daniel Logan and Julia Atkinson Logan. She was a graduate of MUSC Nursing School, and began her career with the VA Hospital in Charleston, where she implemented the Infectious Control Unit Division, and then she retired from the SC State Hospital after over 40 years of working in the medical field. She then moved back to Charleston to be closer to her family, and continued her nursing career with DHEC taking care of Special Needs Children for the Charleston County School District. Montana enjoyed writing, and had a poem published, and was a devout Christian.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Stello Pearce (Jim) of Charleston, SC; son, Edward David Stello (Sara) of Charleston, SC; brother, Daniel Logan, Jr., of Columbia, SC; sister, Margie Wheat of Spartanburg, SC; two grandsons, Zach Stello, Chandler Stello and granddaughter Logan Stello. She was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Madray.
